Troubleshooting document uploads

Identify your error

When an error occurs, your document title turns red and you’ll see an error icon beside the title. By hovering over the document title, you can see an error message, giving you more details about why the error occurred. 


Possible errors

File Format Not Supported: LexSelect accepts .doc, .docx, .pdf, and .odt files. If you have a file in a different format, you’ll need to convert it to an accepted format before uploading. 

Upload Limit Exceeded: If the document exceeds 20MB in size, try compressing the file or splitting it into smaller parts.

Network Issues: Ensure a stable internet connection. If uploads continue to fail, try a different network or contact your internet service provider. Once you’ve reconnected, you can click ‘Try again’ to retry your upload. 

Supported Document Types: Right now, LexSelect supports transcripts, affidavits, expert reports, contracts/agreements/pleadings, and orders. You’re welcome to try other forms of documents and we’ll gladly accept your feedback on their performance.
